Our client was creating a robot that fulfills food orders submitted via web or third-party mobile apps. They were focused on their hardware and back-end code, seeking help designing and implementing the user interface that kitchen staff would use for operations. Their existing UI was designed by and for engineers. They needed an easy-to-learn UI that could handle complex workflows like order modifications and error handling in order to have a successful launch.
A global leader in industrial cleaning equipment engaged us to help develop the software for one of their flagship products: a new modular ride-along floor cleaner with touch-screen controls and smart features. Our goal was to improve the frontend architecture and align the product development process with best practices.
A robotics startup was developing an industry-changing autonomy module and looking to finalize their product prior to going to market with a key strategic partner. Our client integrated their autonomy module solution with one of the partner’s pallet mover / jack products, which has since had a successful market launch. Our team was initially brought in to assist with rapidly refining and coding the autonomous pallet mover’s UI/UX ahead of a big industry event, and we went on to design and implement additional features afterward.
